will depend on distance too..
|dw:1338896208639:dw| The tangent and the ring are on the same plane. Only hints will suffice, I will do the rest.
The distance is z, I want the field at the fixed point P. The integration seems to be complicated. Any ideas how to proceed?
integration will surely be complicated..perhaps polar coordinates will help..
i'll try later...i think it can be done using a little coordinate geometry and integration..
