The volume of a cone is 120 cubic meters. What is the volume of a cylinder with the same radius and the same height as the cone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look at the formulas for the volume of a cone and the volume of a cylinder. The volume of a cylinder is \[V=\pi r^2h\]For a cone: \[V=\frac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h\] Notice that the volume of a cylinder is always three times the volume of a cone. You have the volume of your cone, so you should be able to find the volume of the cylinder.
