Hello i really need some help on this question... Pines, firs, and redwoods all belong to which subphylum? A. Angiospermophyta B. Coniferophyta C. Ginkgophyta D. Gnetophyta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This would be the Coniferophyta. This is a conspicuous group, which contains the woody plants--commonly know as "conifers." The member of this group produces ovules that mature into seeds. These ovules are found at the upper area surfaces of the scale structures, which as also know as to be clustered into cones. They will also be considered as "gymnosperms". The Family Pinaceae--will have the firs and pines. The Family Taxodiaceae--will have the redwoods Hope that helps! n_n
