x^2-100=0

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

ok so first here's what you do: x^2 - 100 = 0 x^2 -100 + 100 = 0 + 100 x^2 = 100 \[\sqrt x ^{2} = \sqrt{100} = x = 10\]

Thanks !!

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

Yup!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

some mistake is there x^2 - 100 = 0 (x - 10)(x + 10) = 0 x = 10, x =-10 here 2 values of x -10, 10

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

Oh right, sorry about that :/
