Well the Trail of Tears was a very brutal movement. It consisted of the U.S forcefully moving the Cherokee people to another area so they could have access to the land that they were currently living on. During the trail several Cherokee people mainly children and the elderly suffered from diseases and the harsh whether conditions and died. This impacted them on one way bu limiting their numbers drastically since hundreds of Cherokee people died on the Trail. Another incase you need it is that they thought ALOT less of Americans when the U.S forcefully moved them.
