37.5 is correct.... it needs a construction for proof... join AC and then its angle angle at the circimference is double the angle at the centre on the same arc to get angle BAC then angle BCP = 37.5 angle in the alternate segment

all you need to know for intersecting chords the product of the segments are equal 6x = 18*8 6x = 144 x = 144/6 x = 24
