In the first question, what's the distance of the the line between the brackets? Or how long is the distance from one end of the bracket to the other?

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

Hi Prettyinpink777 :) How are you dear ? I think it should be D for both.

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

Simply measure the distance set the given equation to that distance. and solve for "x"

Good question i dont no.... and im not so good i have lots of work to do to day.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok easier question, where does the bracket start and where does it end?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first qst -3x-1=5 3x=-6 => x=-2 second qst 2x=4 => x=2 calculate the distance between points if a<b the distance is b-a then make the distance equal to the given equation

Thanks :)

You didn't even get it...what's the point in giving the answer straight away? Geez.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She showed me how to get the answer thats the point.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

She didn't explain anything. From what I've read you don't even know how to get the distance between two points, how are you supposed to understand this?

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

I think everyone here must be agreed to Julietlove.

Thank you. It's just some people really make the effort to explain step by step and then BAM somebody just throws the answer at you.
