How many cells are in interphase?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all cells that are not in the mitotic phase.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about the rest of the phases?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the only phases are interphase, mitotic phase and cytokinesis. G1, S, and G2 phases are all part of interphase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats mitotic phase i have never heard of it. ANd there are other phases like anaphase, metaphase ,prophase and telophase..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is the mitotic phase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*MITOSIS!* :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok now that sounds better lol but i have to figure out how many cells are in the ones i named and i have no idea ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there a picture with it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no there isnt they want me to make a chart of how many cells are in each phase and they give me the total number of cells too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help? plzz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does the chart look like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1338930659683:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'd expect that the majority of them would be in interphase. How many would depend on what type of cell they are, how many there are, and which ones just happened to be in your sample.

just boxes?
