RNA has how many strands of nucleotides ?

OpenStudy (blues):

It can be either. Double stranded RNAs are known to science, although most of the common and widely studied kinds are single stranded. As a point of interest, often a single stranded RNA will fold back and base pair with itself - so though it is still single stranded overall, it has local regions which look double stranded.
