The ocean contains very little NaCl ture or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know what NaCl is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Salt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was asking shorty, but yes, that's correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

More specifically, NaCl is the kind of salt that you might find in a salt shaker. It is completely ordinary table salt.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ocean is a cornucopia of NaCl. Ocean water tastes salty!

Our tongue has a relativly low thresshold, evolutionary developed so we don't overconsume salt which would disrupt our waterbalance aswell as electrolyte along with some other problems. Do a experiment with a glass of water, add half a teespoon of salt. shake and take a sip, and add a another half tea spoon. You'll notice that the difference between a little salty and extremly salty is very little. (Yes i've done it, it was fun.)
