Quatre is four in French. When we want something four times the normal size, we quadruple it. When something has four sections, the sections are labeled as quadrants. So, from analyzing everyday words we can infer that a quatrain will have some relation to the number four. And in this case, that is so. The answer is C. The whole rant that preceded the answer I just gave was really irrelevant, sorry.
