WHAT IS AN ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM

OpenStudy (istim):

Google is very helpful is this situation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The endoplasmic reticulum is basically the protein packaging system of the cell. It works with the Golgi Apparatus to synthesize (create) and package proteins. There are two parts; the rough and the smooth ER. Hope this helps! :)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

@IsTim That is very funny! But sometimes you'll find the wrong information... grrr, google is supposed to be perfect.... >:( lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@yayaA you are very welcome. :)

OpenStudy (istim):

Yeah, but in this case I think such information could gleaned from a textbook, a note (I do hope the asker was not being lazy in looking thru that) or at the very least a search engine.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do we count as search engines? :) Ha, I'm not sure about that.... :D But I do agree with you, it's just, sometimes textbooks try to be all fancy, and people don't want fancy nowadays... they want the facts quickly. lol we humans have no patience....
