I need help, algebra final tomorrow. How would you graph the following: y=kx, or y=2^x ? thanks (:

like what kind of pattern would it make?

Ok, this is what I would suggest, try and sketch the graphs by picking random x and y points for each graph. For y=kx, k is a constant such as 1,2,3 and so on, so if k=1 then y=x. Now let's pick our random points and then plot them. |dw:1338947145994:dw| Notice this forms a graph that looks like this |dw:1338947217761:dw| Our second graph is an exponential graph because it's 2^f(x) in this case f(x) is x Exponential graphs always look like this|dw:1338947268484:dw| Where a is a constant just like 2
