describe photosynthesis and respiration. what do they have in common?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They both deal with how a plant uses energy. The common compound they have is carbon dioxide, which is what is 'exhaled' from the plant during respiration (and formed through photosynthesis). Also, during photosynthesis, the plant makes glucose (its 'food'). After photosynthesis, during respiration, the plant uses that glucose and makes ATP, its energy. I hope that helped you!!! :D
