when light travels from one medium to another speed of light changes so there should also be change in energy since its kinetic energy has changes. But while reading refraction there was no mention of change in energy. So does the energy remains constant?

frequency does NOT change, so energy stays the same (E= h* ni (f) ), wavelenght and speed change. hope that helps
