A regular hexagon has perimeter 60 in. What is the hexagon's area? * 75square root of three in.² * 150square root of three in.² * 300square root of three in.² * 600square root of three in.² i know the actual area is 259.8 but i need to know what one it is above pleaseeeeee i want to go to sleep
need help
area of hexagon when permeter is 60 cm?
choose 300 as its the closest to your answer
Well, it looks like you might want to make sure that you are doing the area formula right. If the perimeter is 60 in. and the formula for the perimeter of a regular hexagon is 6r, that means that you can figure out the radius by dividing by 6. Now, the area is a bit harder. You did get it right :) I agree with @campbell_st that you might want to round. I just thought that merited an explanation.
