Explain the argument between the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church. What were its origins and how did it end? I know of about a million links that just confuse me so can you give a short answer?

Yep. This is how it originated: The Pope of the Roman Catholic Church wanted all the power (he claimed that he was appointed by God to be the only legitimate leader), the Eastern Church had their own leader and they disagreed. Due to differences in religious views as well, the two churches argued even more and so they split. I hope this helped you. :)
