OpenStudy (anonymous):

o km.. displacement is the difference between start position and finish position...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so would it be 44km?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, the hiker walks from start to finish.. which would be 44km but that he/she walks back again and ends up at the same position he/she started... so 0km

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh that makes sense! they have no displacement because they are right where they started!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly, it's a trick question ;-)
