Fred has 10 coins in a bag. He has 4 quarters, 1 penny, and 5 dimes. If he reaches in his bag and draws coins without looking, what is the probability of drawing a quarter? This is a really easy question, BUT the thing was is there were percentages for the answers and he only knows how to do the fractions @Bri<3

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

I can help:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4:10 ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey it's Bri's bro.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it was 4/10 But it wasn't in the answer choice.

OpenStudy (phi):

change the fraction to an equivalent fraction with 100 in the bottom in this case, multiply top and bottom by 10 to get 40/100 that is the same as 40%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 40%

OpenStudy (phi):

40 per cent is Latin for 40 per 100 or 40/100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

40% (:

OpenStudy (phi):

cent as 100 cents in a dollar, or century = 100 years

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

well i guess some peepl already beat me to helping:/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awwww D: Well maybe next time he has a question, I'll message you :DD
