It is possible that a recessive trait in a survey such as this one may have a greater total number than its dominant counterpart. Explain how that might happen in an investigation like this. I get the question but i dont know what to write or how to write it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the recessive trait is more than dominant, then the recessive trait will actually become dominant and the dominant trait will become recessive.

thnx!!!

OpenStudy (mphetang):

well i am not sure, but i was wondering if the question needs to adress the issue of autosomal dominance and autosomal recessiveness and/or x-linked recessiveness and x-linked dominance. because in this case(autosomal and x-linked recessiveness), there will be more recessive alleles than dominant ones
