Math Analysis: Find the amplitude. y = 8sin(2x+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Amplitude = 8..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh o-o so the other stuff were just decoys? lolz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But, yeah the coefficient is the amplitude..

OpenStudy (turingtest):

in an equation of the form\[y=A\sin(Bx+C)\]the amplitude is \(A\), the period is\[T=\frac{2\pi}{|B|}\]and the phase shift is \(\phi=C\)

OpenStudy (turingtest):

..and in\[y=A\sin(Bx+C)+D\] the vertical shift would be \(D\) as was pointed out, then deleted
