What is the solution to the rational equation 4x/3 + 2/3 = 6 ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First find a common denominator. Just multiply 6 by 3 to get the common denominator. Then, because it's all the same denominator, just solve what's in the numerators. 4x + 2 = 18 4x = 16 x = 4
