Did you know that providing your child(ren) with weekly allowance for completing chores could help them later in life? Suppose you give your child $7.50 once a week and he/she wanted to buy a stuffed animal and a candy bar. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough for both. Your child would have to decide whether to spend all of their money on the stuffed animal or to save their money for next week so they could buy both. Decisions like these come up in life at any age and it leads to managing a budget. When you give your child allowance, you are teaching your child how to manage a budget, which can help them later in life.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, okay... So you're off to really strong start!!! Why are you even asking ME for help?!???!! lol, seriously what do you want me to do? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i dont really no wat else to put lol im haveing a brain fart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so build off of your thesis statement. I mean, look at it, there's so much potential!!!! :) "When you give your child allowance, you are teaching your child how to manage a budget, which can help them later in life." You can add so much here, it's crazy. The beginning of your next paragraph can start like this, for example: "Managing a budget successfully requires many good qualities, such as those in accounting, maturity, and responsibility. Giving one's children chores teaches them all three of these important life lessons."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow lol ok thanks that just gave me a new start thsnks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome! Glad I could help!!! :)
