PLEASE HELP WITH THIS VECTORS PROBLEM! If vectors a + 3b and 4a - b are perpendicular, and |a| = 2|b| are perpendicular, and |a| = 2|b|, determine the angle (to the nearest degree) between the non zero vectors a and b. Please show all work, thanks :)

Are you using |a| to mean the magnitude of a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks cliffsedge but I already found the solution :)

I ask because the phrase, "|a| = 2|b| are perpendicular" doesn't make any sense if you are talking about magnitudes. I'll assume that's a typo.

ah, ok, nm then. :-)
