How do you change the font size in IDLE (on a Mac)? I tried going into preferences to make changes, but when I click apply/ok, nothing happens.

I was having the same issue. I think it's an issue with OSX Lion. I downloaded python 2.7.3 and the preferences are working. I'm just not sure if you'll run into any issues throughout the course running this version over 2.5.4.

@dwilson7 indeed, I'm almost certain this is an issue with OSX Lion. I've not seen this problem on any other computers.
