who in here knows algebra real well
What is your question?
Ask your question
i have alot of question regards to algebra
Ask away
ok
lemme see them'
is 9,-3 a solution of 5x-8y=1
can anyone answer this question
no, 1.6y is the answer
thanks
yep
You have two unknowns there, there is not possible way of solving that unless you introduce a second similar equation ...
no* possible way

complete the ordered pair for equation y=-7x+3 0 is the first number what is the second
show the oredered pair reads(0,_)
beeqay got it, I have to go, use that LINK!!!
what link are you using
Yes but the options he gave are integers, and you do realise that is not solving, that is just expressing one term as the other.
what do you mean
I was referring to the link he posted. Anyway, what are your questions?
complete the ordered pair for the problem y=-7x+3 (0,_)
Ok, so did they give you the zero?
yes
ok, well the zero is an x value, so just plug it into your equation and solve for y. So you have y= 3 So your pair would be (0,3)
thanks
no problem
complete the tables of values equation reads 4x-2y=8 1st line reads (0,_) 2nd line reads(_,0) 3rd line reads (_,-8)
Same thing as this first one I showed you. Your coordinates are in the form of (x,y) so every value on the left is an x value while the values on the right are y values. Just plug them into your equation and solve for the unknown. I'll do the second one then you can do the rest alright? \[4x- 2(0)= 8\] \[4x=8\] \[x=2 \]
what are the three numbers
I did the second one, can you do the first and last?
wouldn't the first pair read (0,-4)
yup
now just need the last pair
You can do it, it's just the same as the second one that I did.
wouldn't it be -6,-8
(-2,-8)
find the intercepts for equation 5x-6y=60 x intercepts is y intercepts is simplify
