If your question is asking where sorting is useful in our daily lives I can think of a doctors schedule sorted by time, court hearings, ordering clients by importance or sorting an excel spreadsheet by town, country, etc. Many statistics are normally sorted from low to high (or vice versa). Computers make this happen.
