I would tell you this. Given fractions such as \[1/3-1/2\] |dw:1339065277077:dw| Simplest way to get a common denominator. Just multiply the numerator and denominator of one term with the denominator of the othe term as I did in the drawing. It makes things much faster than spending time looking for the LCM.
