Currently,I observed that many people are ignoring New coming user's Questions ,Maybe cuz they thought that they are less knowledge for the site and they won't give them medals or maybe their question's idea is simple or something ,,Whatever the reason is.... So why not u increase the medal number up to twice at least at the range of levels 0-20 so that can enthused them to answer it more ..

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

well...we arent stereotypical for us to ignore questions...

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

maybe we just dont know it

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i for one will answer any question i know how to answer as long as it doesnt involve graphing...i hate that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm ,I think everyone know da Concept of factorizing ,radicals ,.....

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i only know....well as long as im not too lazy to analyze the problem...ill answer anything...normally im too lazy to read long posts lol

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i also dont answer @KingGeorge @FoolForMath and @eliassaab problems lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahaha @lgbasallote and I just don't really answer math questions that much, I'm not ignoring them.

OpenStudy (callisto):

For me, I would help if I could help... no matter what the level of difficulty the question is and no matter if the asker would give the medal

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

I don't normally help if it's going to be a long process because most of the time I'm on the site I'm working. (I work for OpenStudy as a Software Engineer.) So, normally if I'm on the site chatting it's because I need a mental break. heh.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ducks like to take breaks. That is for sure, or they bite. ;p

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

There are a few reasons for this (in my opinion). First, some of us have jobs, and we only help when we have some time/need to take a break. This is what farmdawg was saying. Second, there are some topics that I feel I'm more likely to mess up on, so I generally don't respond to questions regarding those topics. Third, we don't know the answer. It happens to the best of us. Fourth, and this is rather cynical of me, many of these new people only want the answers to one or two questions, and then they leave as soon as they have the answers. They get the answer, and log off, never to return. I find this activity rather frustrating, and I likely won't reply to these kinds of questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm new :)... I only posted one question so far. I am also browsing to see if I can help anyone else or learn something from someone else's response... I'm not really all bent out of shape if nobody responds to my question either. :)
