means.. to assume an ideal capacitor and and ideal resistance in parallel instead of a faulty/non-ideal capacitor?
i knew that but what next.. i'm a 12th grader i cant understand university level terms..

To be in complete honesty, I am also having trouble understanding this question, you may want to tell you teacher that you understand what it is, but that you don't understand what this question is meaning, (not the answer). They may be able to explain :) (i'm only in 10th..ha..)
