A ball is dropped from a height of 20.0m. It falls for 2.00 seconds. It's velocity is 24.6 m/s when it hits the ground. Find the acceleration of the ball when it hits the floor.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

v= u+at whereby t stands for time, v for final velocity, u for initial velocity and a for acceleration. goign on the assumption that friction is nit an option and starting velocity is 0 this leaves a=v/t
