How do you complete a coordinate notation for a translation? What I have to complete is this; (x,y)--> (x_____________, y___________) Help?!

Well, it's a translation of segment AB and needs to be turned into segment NM...

Suppose, if you translate 'a' units along the positive X-axis (horizontally), and 'b' units along the positive Y-axis (vertically), then the translation is represented as: (X,Y) --> (x - a , y - b)
