How does an interior designer use triangles in their career?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is something of a triangular placement principle, e.g. in a kitchen, to have the stove, refrigerator, and counter top form the vertices of a triangle. I'm sure there are many more ways; that's the first that came to mind.
