Hi i have an problem , i want to hide my real name , just for some privacy , can i ? please help !! i log in into openstudy through facebook

If you name is your username you can't change it or hide it. You could make a new account though :). If your name is in your profile just go to settings and change it! Good luck!

But if i will make new account , the smart score will be deleted , isn't there any way for that ?

You should still be able to change your name on your profile settings by going to "Settings" up at the top. Are you not able to change your name from that screen?

Unless you're talking about your actual username, which we can't change. heh.

Your username on OpenStudy is set by you when you sign up. It cannot be changed. If you want to change it, yes, you'll have to sign up with a new username, and yes, I'm afraid your SmartScore will be lost.

It's not an explicit rule so much as it is something that started happening so often that we became very annoyed by it.

@shadowfiend before it was just a rule not to tag too many admins...now we cant tag you in os feedback either?? :O

We look at OS Feedback throughout the day every day. There is no need to tag us, so please don't. If you need us elsewhere, don't tag all of us. Just like we look through OS Feedback, we talk to each other, so if one of us sees something and needs intervention from someone else, that person will talk to the other member of the team who needs to be involved.

The goal is for us to stay focused from working on making OpenStudy better if at all possible. These are guidelines to try and help achieve that goal by letting us look at things as time permits. We can't be on the site 24/7, so when our presence is requested, we take it seriously. And when you tag us for something that can wait until we do our next round, it's very annoying to us, because you're interrupting us while we're trying to do something else.
