4-9x2+2x4 =2x4-9x2+4...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Multiply both sides of the equation with x^4. You will then have an x^4 term, an x^2 term and a constant. Replace x^2 with another variable, say t, and you have yourself a quadratic equation.
