Another pleasee?<3 Sarah has a total of 52 DVD's and CD's. If the number of CD's is two more than four times the number of DVD's, how many CD's does she have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assume the number of dvd= x then the number of cd =4x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and according to the qus total no of cd + dvd=52

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x+4x+2=52

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now solve for the value of x and tell me what do u get then i will guide u what to do after that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u get after solving it...!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im too lazy to solve that one xP I got no sleep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put ur efforts to learn something

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just did a 40 Q test and this one has 44 questions :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol here the value of x=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha feel like helping me with ONE more? hehe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still not solved wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assume the number of dvd= x then the number of cd =4x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x is the value of dvd but we have to find the value of cd which is=4x+2 so no of cd =42

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hally 10 is no of dvd in qus its asking for the no of cd which is 42
