PLEASE HELP! One solution of the equation 6x2 − 19x + 3 = 0 is 1/6. What is the other solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since 1/6 is a solution, then the other solution is (1/6)*r=3 . solvve for r to get your other root

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok....this is what I got 1/18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think it's right though...I put it into my calculator and it was wrong ><

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nvm I found it, it's 3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you solved the (1/6)r = 3, you would have gotten r=18
