Hi can anyone help please, i keep getting 288, but wrong! thanks :) What is the volume of a regular triangular pyramid when the length of a side of the base = 12 cm and the height of the pyramid of 12 cm? Hint: Use the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate the height of the base which is an equilateral triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What'd you get for the height?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats where i messed up, not sure what to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ANYONE??? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold on

I think they mean that the diagonal length is \(12 \text{ cm}\). It's very poorly worded.
