All you have to do is put the original polynomial over x-2. then set it to zero and solve for x

what do you mean? you mean like that entire f(x) over x-2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea. Just simplify f(x) and put whatever you get over x - 2. Then, simplify that. After you're done with that just set it equal to zero and solve for x.
