How do I find asymptotes? I dont understand...

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

vertical asymptotes happen ONLY in rational expressions (you know what these are right?) you find them by equating the DENOMINATOR to 0 then solve for that x <--that will be the VERTICAL asymptote

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

horizontal asymptote is same as that except it's y

I see. How would I find oblique asymptotes then.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

well..that i cannot recall sorry
