Find the surface area of a sphere that has a diameter of 4 cm. 64π cm2 π cm3 4π cm2 16π cm2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SA = 4Ï€r^2

but none of my answers are on the choices :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

diameter is twice the radius. so radius would be 2, then plug that into to the formula posted above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2^2 becomes 4 once again, and 4 times 4 is 16 so your answer is 16 pi cm 2
