Hi check this one

mathslover (mathslover):

mathslover (mathslover):

we have to simplify that : \[(7+3\sqrt{5})/(3+\sqrt{5}) - (7-3\sqrt{5})/(3-\sqrt{5})\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks like you did if that was your work. But where did the denominators come from?

mathslover (mathslover):

@beeqay yes it is my homework but i didn't understand by what you mean by denominators come from ? they were given and then i rationalised them :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean, it looks like you have two different questions. What do you need help with?

mathslover (mathslover):

I had to simplify it and i got sqrt5 as the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hold on, did you make a typo? Because the answer to what you typed here should be \[16\sqrt{5}\] But then what you typed here is not similar to your homework.
