I have two new ideas! 1. I actually found OpenStudy by googling a problem I had and it was the only option that popped up. However, when I logged in, I just had to ask the question myself. (Not entirely bad, but still). What if we made a "search" box, where we could just try to find where another user has asked and (hopefully) gotten a reply? 2. (I don't know how likely this one really is, but one can dream) What if we made a second chat box for math that only older users (who are active) can use? The consistent influx of new users (and troll accounts), is annoying.
Depends am I an "older user" bcuz i dont like being left out c;
1. Search has been suggested before. We've got something in the oven that we think will be a better solution than a dumb search, actually. Fun times ahead. 2. I think this will hurt the community as a whole. If the chats are split then the old users aren't around to give guidance to newbies honestly seeking to learn about the community. Kind of defeats the "Open" in "OpenStudy" :P
1. I don't envy you. Yay for the users though! 2. 'Tis true. The thought made me feel a little better though. xD
i thought you guys reject the search idea every time because it defeats the purpose of interactive learning in openstudy? @farmdawgnation ?
Party killer. ;p Oh, and lgba they don't like us tagging them, it makes a duck bite apparently. D:

Like I said, what we're working on isn't search, but will meet the same need.
