I am just starting out. I have viewed the first two lectures and completed Problem Set #0. Any suggestion for a new student to get the most from the course?

I completed that CS101, too at Coursera. The first half was good for a beginner (javascript), but the second half had little to do with computer science and felt more like an entry level CIS course.
