Identify the word or phrase that should be in italics: He felt like a character in a Steven Spielberg movie as he listened to a Strauss waltz while eating spaghetti in the dining car. Steven Spielberg Strauss waltz spaghetti no error I know it's not spaghetti. I think it may be no error?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

could be strauss waltz..you usually italicized the specific proper nouns

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

but yeah could be no error

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's without a doubt "no error" - trust me!! A title would be italicized, but there is no title here. If it said, "the Strauss waltz The Blue Danube", then The Blue Danube would be italicized, because it's a title; it's also a proper noun that names a specific Strauss waltz. "[T]he Strauss waltz referes to a general, not specific, waltz - Strauss wrote many waltzes.
