What is the slope of the line 2x + 5y = -10?

Parth (parthkohli):

Convert it to the form \(y = mx + b\) by taking 2x to the other side and then dividing both sides by 5. m would be the slope.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it 2/5x-10 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the equation y=mx+b, the m is the gradient. therefore in this case the gradient is 2/5.

and yes you are correct
