what is the limit as x goes to infinity of (2x^2+1)^2/(x-1)^2(x^2+x)

OpenStudy (zarkon):

what is the highest power of \(x\) in the numerator and denominator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking the higheest power in the numerator is 4 and the higest power in the denominator is 4

OpenStudy (zarkon):

what are the coefficients next to those powers of \(x\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think coefficient of 4 in numerator and coefficient of 1 in denominator

OpenStudy (zarkon):

correct...so the answer is 4/1=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks much
