A patchwork quilt is made up of two different sized squares. The length of the larger square is twice the length of the smaller square. How many of the smaller squares does it take to equal the area of one larger square?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as the length is half that means that 2 squares can fit in the larger square length wise, and 2 width wise so 4 of the smaller one are able fit into the larger square
