Solve for x. Equation in comments :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where would you start to try to solve that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do i start by adding 2 to both sides ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add 2 to both sides then square both sides to get rid of the radical

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is a good start...or people can just tell you the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont need the answer i need to knoee how to solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes you add 2 to both sides then square both sides to get rid of that radical

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow \sqrt{x + 9} = 4 }\) Now square both sides. \( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow x + 9 = 4^2 }\)

Parth (parthkohli):

Can you solve now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add two to cancel it and then add it to =2 so it becomes 4 Then do sqrt(x+9)= 7

Thank youu (: !
