If this a lame topic for a story?


A soldier is at the scene of a huge battle, and wonders why there are no enemy bodies. Then he sees purple blood, and realizes that the enemies are aliens. The aliens took all of their equipment, dead, and anything of theirs back to their base. This is all taking place in present day. The american army is trying to fight these aliens, but they cannot take them alone. Its pretty much a tale of survival, an all the nations of the world need to band together to kill the aliens. Too cliched? Good topic?

Hmmm. This could be a good story line. It all depends on how you right it and how you capture the attention of the reader. Any story could be good just as long as there is a good clincher.

Yea I agree with lightiskira! It depends on how you write it ;) Oh yea, and if I may say so, when you describe your aliens (if you do) describe them in a way NO ONE would have EVER described them. Not the cliche, purple, yellow polked dotted one eyed mosnter that were 12 inches high -_- no. Make it unique, unheard of, INSANE! Your imagination is limitless ;) Good luck!
